A.K.A. NMP, N-Methyl-2-Pyrrolidone, 1-Methyl-2-Pyrrolidone with a molecular formula of C5H9NO, NMP is colourless to light yellow transparent liquid, has a slightly ammonia odor, strong hygroscopicity, and can be miscible with water in any proportion. Soluble in various organic solvents such as ethanol, acetone and esters, aromatics, etc., and is completely mixed with almost all solvents.
